Shoes

Jacob had a giftcard to Dick's Sporting goods and we were looking around a sale table.  I couldn't believe it when I saw orange soccer cleats (my favorite color!) in my size.  Now I'm ready for some summer playing and the next season on the field.

Speaking of the backyard, I have had these shoes for two years.  They fell apart and we duct taped them back together.  Daddy found some Crocs my size at Goodwill for $3!!!

But I'm still not ready to throw these away.  Maybe in a few days.  These shoes were so easy to slip on and run outside.  They have been through a lot.

School books



My 3rd grade year has ended. It was a fun grade. At the end of the year I said goodbye to my books.  I am thankful I am homeschooled and I have a great teacher. I get to be with family all day and have all my school stuff right at my spot on my table.

Comets dinner

The Comets had a record of about 1-7 and we won our first playoff game!  But then we lost the second game and the season ended with a dinner.  It was fun seeing everyone one more time and saying goodbye.

Piano Recital

We had a piano recital at a church in Warm Springs, Georgia.  I was happy with how I played my two pieces: The Gallaway Piper and Tarantella.  Afterwards, there was a party with food. I had about five desserts and some appetizers so that was my dinner.

At nighttime on December 31st I was feeling a little sad to say goodbye to 2015.  But when I woke up we played a game and I was happy to be in 2016.  Now I know every year is great and I look forward to them all!

Scissors

I had a pair of blue scissors that I loved.  We were trying to get a popsicle stick out of Ellie's roller coaster and Julia and I had the idea to get it out with the scissors.  I guess that was a bad idea because we ended up breaking the blade.




I was very sad when they broke and we had to throw them away.

Dresser

I had a nice dresser in my room when I was 5.  When I was 8, we had to give it away because it was broken and we got new shelves in our closet.  I felt really sad because I love that dresser.



I guess it was a little broken.  The drawers used to fall out.



We gave it to Goodwill and went to see it for sale.  I love my dresser.

Change

Change is hard for everyone.  This blog will help me with the change that comes with every day.
